Imagine this picture without the green olive netting. The netting hasn't been put up yet but the puddles are getting bigger than the ones in the photo. We're happy. The trees are happy. The Wild Boars are thrilled..us less about the wild boars being thrilled because it means they'll be snorfelling around in our land tearing down rock walls and digging around the roots of our trees looking for grubs, snails and various....right now it is TEEMING!!! The drought is over.
Dovete immaginare questa foto senza le reti per le olive che non abbiamo ancora messi su. Le pozzanghere stanno crescendo a vista d'occhio perche sono parecchie ore che sta diluviando. Noi siamo felici. Gli alberi sono felici. I Cinghiali sno estasiati...noi siamo meno estasiati che i cinghiali. Perchè quando arrivono loro tirano giù i muri a secco e grufolano intorno alle radici della piante di ulivo cercando vermi, lumache e varie...in questo momento sta piovendo CANI E GATTI! Siccità finito!

RispondiEliminaSo che si ti capitassero i cinghiali sottomano farebbero un ottima fine ;-) :-D Meno male che da voi è tutto a posto, una mia amica ha dei parenti a Levante e sono distrutti, ma per fortuna ancora vivi. Sono a Roma per il compleanno del nipote, domani ritorniamo ai lidi adottivi. Buona domenica carissima!
